As winter casts its gentle embrace upon us, we're pleased to share an update on all of the projects that have blossomed in June. We also facilitated a number of experiences as we start to share the things we love and come back into full service.
Have you ever felt the earth's whisper as you nurture new life into the soil? Our journey has been enriched by laying biodynamic preparations onto our lands, planting new natives into §our gardens, plus nourishing work in our veggie and fruit gardens.
We also attended Bellingen Market for the first time with our own stall, had some beautiful conversations and connections, lots of fun and this will really help shape our future offerings!
Meanwhile, the transformation of our temple space has continued, graced by Joe Newton's craftsmanship with our new ceremonial tea table. So excited to be able to gather here and be in presence together.

Winter Newsletter: Cultivating Growth and Connection
Have you ever felt the gentle pull of nature calling you to slow down and reconnect? I find it so healing to be in nature, to sink into presence and listen. In our Winter Newsletter, we explore this sacred relationship, revealing how we've been catching up on our land projects and enhancing the soil with biodynamic preparations. The magic of winter lies in its slower rhythms, whilst also being blessed with sun and warmth in the day.
Land Projects Update: Embracing Biodynamic Preparations and Native Plantings
Our land projects update reveals how our connection with the earth deepens. By incorporating biodynamic preparations since we landed here two years ago, we have seen massive improvements in the quality of our soil and all of our plants are grateful, so many earthworms can now be found, it was sparse when we first got here. We've been regularly adding a soil preparation to bring greater balance and atmospheric preparations to improve photosynthesis and pest resistance. In June we added an extra Hugel Cultur raised garden bed, simulating the cycle in the forest, reducing water usage and a no till way of growing. The gentle promise of a thriving ecosystem is now taking root. As winter weaves its quiet magic, we nurture our gardens with the care, inviting you to witness this transformation. It continues to be a deep learning journey, learning to bein harmony with nature, companion planting, to grow for ourselves and the natural ecosystem.

Community Experiences: Conversations at Bellingen Market, presence and the joy of sacred tea
At the heart of our community experiences is the joy of sharing and learning. Our time at the Bellingen Market allowed us to engage with our local community, and those conversations are guiding us toward more meaningful experiences. We listened, shared, and will continue to refine, creating pathways for future connections.

Our new ceremonial table also arrived at the end of June created by musician and artisan Joe Newton. The arrival of the sacred tea table is a moment steeped in tradition and cultural significance. In many societies the table is not merely a piece of furniture but a symbol of hospitality, community and ritual. It serves as a gathering point where stories are shared, bonds are strengthened, mindfulness is practiced through the art of tea preparation and consumption.
